Hi, I’m Emma Breedlove, an artist based in Atlanta, Georgia, and originally from Madison, a small town about an hour east of the city.

I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a minor in Design & Media from the Lamar Dodd School of Art. Go Dawgs!

I create vibrant, contemporary paintings inspired by the beauty in everyday moments, from florals and collected tablescapes to food, drinks, and scenes that feel lighthearted, social, and a little nostalgic.

My work is defined by bold color, expressive shapes, and a slightly stylized approach. I love creating compositions that feel fresh, playful, and full of personality while still capturing the charm of the original subject.

In the studio, you’ll usually find me painting with a cup of hot coffee or an iced vanilla latte nearby and a playlist ranging from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin to Olivia Dean, RÜFÜS DU SOL, yacht rock, and alternative rock.

More than anything, I want each painting to capture a feeling. The kind of carefree, colorful moments that feel effortless, joyful, and worth remembering.
